The Ausable Bayfield and Maitland Valley Source Protection Plans were approved by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment on January 19, 2015, with effective date of April 1st, 2015.
The following changes were made to the Ausable Bayfield Source Protection Plan pursuant to Section 51 of Ontario Regulation 287/07 of the Ontario Clean Water Act, 2006.
The Ausable Bayfield Source Protection Plan and associated Assessment Report are amended to reflect the decommissioning of the Zurich wells in the Municipality of Bluewater.
Amendments include the removal of the associated wellhead protection area, vulnerability scoring, threats and policy applicability.
